We’re thrilled to announce that the Burn After Reading Poets are back on March 3rd with a transatlantic special, featuring one of our very favourite international poets – JON SANDS.
JON SANDS is a writer known for electric readings, and the author of The New Clean (2011, Write Bloody Publishing). His work has been featured in The New York Times, published widely in various journals, and anthologized in The Best American Poetry 2014. He has represented New York City numerous times at the U.S. National Poetry Slam. He tours extensively, but lives in Brooklyn.
Born in 2013, BURN AFTER READING (aka BAR or BARPo) is a community of emerging poets established by Jacob Sam-La Rose and Jasmine Cooray that manifests a diverse range of poetics from ‘spoken word’ to ‘page’ and points in between.
